Preparing to Paint

Over the next few days we will be reading and accessing our classmates famous painting proposals for our painting project. Until we begin painting you should be using class time to:

• Read your classmates proposal comments and begin to develop a choice for a painting.
• Look at the websites/videos on Acrylic Painting Color Basics.

During the week of February 2nd we will be introducing you to the acrylic paints and tools in the classroom. We will begin to practice using acrylic paints by completing some specific acrylic paint techniques. By the end of the week, we will announce the long awaited painting to be recreated.
